We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our users’ needs and our business priorities. We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of any major changes.

Our site is directed to people residing anywhere in the world but who are interested in immigrating to the United Kingdom.  We adhere to the UK regulations and legislation. If such regulations are different in your country, you are still able to use our website and services, as long as you are happy with our company complying with the UK law.

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

Additional Terms and Conditions

Please note that additional terms are provided on our Booking a Consultation, OISC Accreditation Training and Life in the UK booking pages.  By confirming that you have read and agree to our Terms and Conditions when booking a consultation or course, you agree to those terms also. 

 

Bookings and Payment Terms and Conditions

1.2. Online bookings will only be accepted on completion of our website booking form. Telephone and e-mail bookings can only be made with a representation of A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers, where information including full delegate name, home/organisational address, mobile/telephone number and e-mail address must all be provided.

1.3. Bookings are only secured on receipt of full payment.

1.4. Payment for our courses must be received in advance of the course date or in accordance with the terms of our invoice, whichever is soonest. If this is not possible for any reason, then alternative arrangements must be agreed in advance with a representation of A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers by telephone or email. 

1.5. Payment for notes, publications and online courses must be received by representation of A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers before we can dispatch the relevant items.

1.6. Any invoice that remains outstanding beyond the specified payment period may be referred to our retained debt collection agency, upon which it will be subject to a surcharge of 15% plus VAT to cover the collectioncosts incurred. This surcharge together with all other charges and legal fees incurred will be the responsibility of the customer and will be legally enforceable.

 

1.7. You can pay the full cost for any of our courses or consultations securely through our website. Alternatively, you can pay for all courses and consultations via bank transfer. 

 

If you engage us for full legal services, a bespoke training package or wish to enroll of our business coaching programme, you must make the necessary payment via bank transfer. Our bank details are as follows:

1.8. If you are booking a consultation with 48 hours, you must pay via bank transfer. You may be required to pay for courses via bank transfer, if at the time of booking your course is due to start within the next 7 days. 

Confirmation of Bookings 

1.9. For any bookings or purchases made through our website you will receive an automatic notification via email to your registered email address.

2. Late booking confirmation and venue details will be sent via e-mail from the A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers Office to your preferred email address. 

 

Rescheduling and Cancellations 

2.1. If you book a course and would like to cancel for a full refund, you must do so at least 10 days before your course starts.

 

2.2. A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers reserves the right to cancel a course or change the date, venue or content of programmes and the names of speakers, lecturers and tutors without prior notice.

2.3. In the event that a course is cancelled, A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers will endeavour to notify all delegates in good time and course fees will be reimbursed in full.

2.4. A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers cannot accept liability for refunds for any expenses incurred other than the course fees. 

 

2.5. If you book a consultation, you must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment, whether virtual or in person. If by the time you book your consultation there is less than 48 hours before your appointment, you cannot cancel for a full refund, unless a member of staff at A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers provides confirmation of shorter time period to cancel, when booking. Where a shorter time period is permitted, confirmation of such will be sent by e-mail within 30 minutes of the said confirmation, if booking was by phone. 

 

Coaching programme 

2.6. Prior to payment, A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers will provide you with the specific Terms and conditions, that must be agreed.

 

2.7. Other 

Should you require any reasonable adjustments for any of our courses, please notify A K Harriott Immigration Lawyers by phone on 014 4293 4988 or e-mail enquiry@akharriott.co.uk and we will endeavour to organise this with the training tutor and/or venue for you.
