We offer OISC level 1, 2 and 3 training. 

Level 1 - you can undertake work on non-complex immigration applications; such as visitor visa, spouse visa, employment visa etc.

Level 2 - you can undertake work on complex applications; such as an application for discretionary leave.

Level 3 - you can undertake appeal work.

We provide the most extensive immigration law training courses in the UK. We offer a range of courses- from beginner to advance training. Unlike all other providers of such training, we also offer 4-10 week courses. This is to ensure that we can meet differing needs, to ensure that candidates have the best chance of passing the exam/exams. The OISC recently changed their rules. Candidates are no longer permitted a resit attempt with each application. Therefore, it is imperative that candidates pass the first time.

Our 2- day course 

This course is run over 2 half days. You will need to undertake some independent study in advance of the training, at the end of the first training day and after the course. Thorough instructions will be provided in advance.

 

Your tutor will cover what you need to know from start to finish, in a structured manner. Your tutor will explain exactly what you need to study independently.

Our 4- 10 weeks course 

Your tutor will cover what you need to know from start to finish, in a structured manner. As you receive support from your tutor over the duration of your course (4- 10 weeks), you will have time to process the content of the course and seek clarification from your tutor, if necessary. 

 

The interactive sessions will take place virtually. You will have 9 workshop sessions, 1 hour each. You will also have access to the recorded sessions for each topic. The recorded sessions are in the form of a lecture. 

 

Unlike other providers, you will be able to contact your tutor by e-mail for the entire duration of your course.  If adequate evidence is provided for failure to attend, your tutor will help you to ‘catch up.’   

 

Half-way through the course, you will be required to sit a mock exam under exam conditions. Your tutor will then mark your paper and arrange a meeting with you to provide specific feedback. Your tutor will suggest ways in which you can improve your exam technique. At the end of the course, you will be required to sit another mock exam under timed conditions. Your tutor will then provide you with the module answer.

 

In addition, at the end of the course, your tutor will help you to update your CV and draft a cover letter for a firm of your choice.

This course is most suitable for those already accredited at level 1. However, it is also suitable for those who already have a basic knowledge of the Immigration Rules (such as those who completed the OISC Level 1 course). The course is also suitable for someone who is at the beginning of their journey and want to apply for employment in this field.

       Final Exam preparation

These are 1-2-1 virtual sessions – just you and your tutor. You will be given 2 half-day revision sessions (8 hours total). These sessions are designed for those in the final preparation stages. Your tutor will go over the entire syllabus, answer any questions you have and provide you with exam techniques suggestions.
